Mirror the AdLibly display for beamsplitter glass and camera-mounted teleprompters. Your words remain clear while your eye line stays with the audience.
Why the text needs to be mirrored
A beamsplitter teleprompter reflects the device display toward the presenter. Without mirror mode, that reflection appears backwards. AdLibly flips the presentation view so the reflected words read correctly.
Set up the display
- Mount the iPhone or iPad face-up in the teleprompter tray behind the beamsplitter glass.
- Open your script and tap Present.
- Open Display and turn on Mirror Text.
- Use the Aa− and Aa+ controls to choose a comfortable text size.
- Align the reflected active line with the camera lens, then read the opening once to check the position.
Keep the active line close to the lens. Short lines and a comfortable text size reduce visible eye movement.
Pause or start another take
Even a prepared recording includes pauses, retakes and changes of emphasis. AdLibly follows your words instead of moving at a fixed speed, so the text stays in the right place for each take.
