Why the prompt needs to be mirrored
A beamsplitter teleprompter reflects the device display toward the presenter. Without mirror mode, that reflection appears backwards. AdLibly flips the presentation view so the reflected words read correctly.
Set up the display
- Place the iPhone or iPad face-up in the teleprompter tray.
- Open your script in presentation mode and enable mirror mode.
- Adjust the text size and reading line for the distance from the camera.
- Position the rig so your natural gaze stays near the lens.
Keep the active line close to the lens. Short lines and a comfortable text size reduce visible eye movement.
