A teleprompter that follows your words
Most teleprompters move at a speed you choose before you start. That works until you pause or change pace. AdLibly listens locally and advances with the words you say, keeping the right part of the script on screen.
Presentation mode highlights the current line in a clear, high-contrast display. The text controls stay close at hand without filling the screen with settings.
Answer a question without losing your place. Add an example or speak off-script. When you start reading again, AdLibly finds the right line.
Set up your iPad teleprompter
- Create a script in AdLibly or open one you already use.
- Tap Present, then use the Aa− and Aa+ controls to choose a comfortable text size.
- If you are using teleprompter glass, open Display and turn on Mirror Text.
- If another app needs the iPad microphone, open AdLibly on iPhone, tap Connect to iPad, choose your iPad, enter its four-digit code and tap Pair with iPad.
- Arrange AdLibly where you can read it with a small glance, then rehearse the opening once.
Use the setup that fits the room
- Present directly from the iPad using its microphone.
- Add AirPods when you want private meeting audio.
- Use an iPhone Companion when Teams, Zoom or Meet is already using the iPad microphone.
- Turn on mirror mode for beamsplitter glass or a camera-mounted teleprompter.
Private and ready offline
Speech recognition happens on-device. Audio is not recorded or uploaded. Scripts stay available offline and sync privately through your iCloud account—there is no AdLibly account to create.
